im trying to replace my fuel filter and it wouldnt come off and now i stripped it. im wondering if i should just replace the fuel line and how much it would be it i did it. my friends dad looked at it and said i kinda bent the fuel line while i was trying to get it off. also how hard would it be to put a new line in. i have a 94 firebird

i really dont see any way you could have stripped it taking it off unless it was put on that way, that nut is supposed to spin on the line and bending the fuel line really isnt that big of a deal, just bend it back -

I think he is talking about rounding off the head. it is probably going to be difficult cause you will probably have to drop the tank to get to that end of the connection but don't quote me on that.Comment
