i am gonna get a custom tune from tsp next month and i was thinking i should put in a 160 thermo. is that a good idea ? my car is a 97. and also 97rs4life do you still have these for sale ?

160 year round here. no problems except for the coolant thermostat code which i deleted with hptuners, make sure tsp takes care of that for you

I ran a 180* thermostat + cooler plugs (stock heat range, but copper) 9 months out of the year - the winter months I ran stock thermostat and plugs.
Reason being, There isn't a big difference in power when it's that cold outside, and I was getting ~19mpg combined with cold plugs + 180 thermo. It didn't bother me to change them out though, I could do a thermo+ plug swap in 15 minutes [img]tongue.gif[/img]
I have a 160* (I think) thermo in the Trans Am and cannot stand it, driving to work in 40* weather the car barely gets past the second tick on the temp gauge. sucks.2011 Camaro LS 6M, in black.
