  • hmmm?

Alrite a friend of mine has a dyno in his garage. His dad owns it, and does alot of buisness for racers at Milan Dragway ( those of you in michigan might run there)

I know of nowhere around here to tune besides there. They tuned on some truck, forgot what it was but using hypertech they got 20hp and like 33lbs of torque out of it? Something like that. That seems really really good for a hypertech, let alone any tuner?

All ive heard is that HPP3 is absolute junk and to go with HP tuners or DHP. Now all im wondering is if I got HP tuners is it relatively close to HPP3 in usage? His dad isnt an expert at tuning, atleast I dont think.

What im saying is if he was able to tune that truck with HPP3 do you think he would be able to use HP tuners good on mine? They have a computer and air/fuel in the garage so he could just run it from there.

And would DHP or HP tuners be better..? 100$ is quite a difference and I may just sell it after im done.

My mods by the time I buy the tuner will be whisperlid, CAI, maybe a new exhaust but I already have duals from the y87 performance package.

Hp tuners is more widely availible right now. dhp is backed up due to high demand. hp tuners from what ive read is great. im pretty sure its way more in depth than the hpp3. theres alot to it.

Ohhh alrite, cause I dont know how good he is with tuning. Im almost positive he hasnt used HP tuners.

Maybe once I get it I could get some michigan members to meet up at milan one night and help me out? hmm..or maybe from fullthrottlev6 because they have a few Milan threads going.

I would definitely recommend doing your exhaust if you are going to tune. Those stock duals don't flow much better than the stock single.
