hi, my car ('98 camaro) has been idling rough and giving a random misfire code. i took it to the local GM shop and i had my fuel filter replaced and then throw in some injector cleaner. i ran the car this weekend and let it idle and though it is running better, it's still not how it should be. now it looks like i'll have to get the injectors cleaned professionally, which was what i wanted to begin with. but i'm wondering how difficult are they to reach and remove. i know they can be a pain on foreign cars, but i'm unsure for this one. secondly, about how much does this usually cost? thanks.

GM doesn't usually recommend "professional" injector cleaning per se.
The best fuel injector cleaner that is easy to get is Chevron's Techron.
Try these, one at a time, and stop when your misfire goes away.
-change the air filter [optional unless really dirty] $5
-change the plugs $30 ish
-change the plug wires $40 ish
-check/replace the coil packs $20 each [there are 3 of them]
-check the ICM [replace only if known to be bad, it's $$$]
If that doesn't get it, then I would start looking at the fuel system.\'00 f-bird 3.8 M5 coupe, pewter metallic
Torsen LSD, Pro 5.0 shifter, Spec stage 1 clutch, Y87 muffler, aftermarket stereo
-more fun than the Oldsmobile it replaced...
