what is the top speed of a v6 camaro from the factory. i've done 125 and my dads z28 is limited to only 108. so is the v6 limited or not.

v6 is limited to 118. I got mine up to 138 with t-tops off and a cutout.Comment

speed limiter is set at 118. I have my speed limiter removed and reached 135 using my hp tuners as a speedo to see once I was over 120Comment

isnt 138 like close to 4800 rpms if your gears are 3.08
i cant imagine what it would be like if u had 3.42s or 3.73s?

I know I'm limited at 118ish with my v6 in 4th or 5th gear. With my buddy driving his 97 ss, t-tops off and me waiving bye to a z28 he said we hit 150. I wasn't looking until I sat back down when we were slowing down and it said a little over 140.Originally posted by kala
