I know this has been posted before but im new at this and my car is having all the symptoms of a bad regulator. Car hard to start and doesnt hold pressure like it should i was wondering where is the regulator at on a 99 firebird....and can anyone tell me exactly how to take it off or should i pay the dealer 200 dollars to do it.:mad:

or do you mean the pressure will not hold when the fuel pump is not running?
If the fuel pump is not running, it is normal to see the fuel pressure drop to zero.
