I know this has been posted before but im new at this and my car is having all the symptoms of a bad regulator. Car hard to start and doesnt hold pressure like it should i was wondering where is the regulator at on a 99 firebird....and can anyone tell me exactly how to take it off or should i pay the dealer 200 dollars to do it.:mad:

look at your fuel rail. drivers side. its the round pc build onto the rail. approx 2in in dia.

Do you mean the pressure is not correct with the engine (and fuel pump) running?and doesnt hold pressure like it should
or do you mean the pressure will not hold when the fuel pump is not running?
If the fuel pump is not running, it is normal to see the fuel pressure drop to zero. well im not totally sure i just no it takes i long crank to get my car to start but if i give it alittle gas it starts up faster.it seems like the line is holding its pressure when i start the car but when its started its totally fine.Comment
