  • small oil leak

I have seen a very small oil leaking from a plug with wires attached to the oil pan with a kind of silicone. It is close to the oil change plug. The leak is so small that do not form drop, it only stains the pan. What I can do to fix that?

    Re: small oil leak

That is the "Low Oil" sensor. You could try to tighten it a bit. Maybe it is loose. If not next time you change your oil remove it and reinstall it with some sealant on the threads. Just make sure your oil pan is empty before you remove the sensor or you will have a big mess.
