still running my factory alt on my 2000 with 136k on the car. and i live in az, 115 degree summers arent much fun. I also have a system in my car

First one alternator on the 95 Camaro lasted 2 months and about 1,000 miles before it puttered out (defective).
Dealer replaced under warranty and has been the same ever since, now at 55k miles, 12 years and 7-1/2inches.Last edited by landj; 08-21-2007, 05:02 PM.Comment
