My ac isnt blowing cold air...cool yes but not cool enough to keep my car cool on a hot day. I dont know anything about air conditioners in cars so I need help. My car is a 94 so do I need to buy once of those retro kits so I can use the new stuff? Also, what is wrong with my AC anyway???

I just had the A/C done in my minivan. I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to recharging and I don't have a pressure gauge either, so I took it to a shop to have it done. It cost me $100 for a flush-n-fill. They also inserted dye into the freon so I can have it checked for leaks in a month or two.
If you've never done this procedure, I would suggest having a shop do it for you. Especially since you may have a leak somewhere.
