I have a 96 camaro just installed a new steering colum and can't get my car to start. I went to radio shack and my key was read as 1.475 * 2K so 2950 is the value I needed for my resistors right. I read up about a 2% tolerance so my range of use is between 2891-3009 ohm. I hooked up (1)2.2kohm + (1) 680ohm + (1) 100ohm = 2980ohm. But my car still won't start please help.

Re: Need help bypassing Vats
I don't see how the resistance value would've changed. Do a quick continuity check w/the key in just to make sure the wires are good.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built
