Accel Extreme 9000 wires burning on 2K + birds?

Hey!

Just a quick Q... I'm about to put in a set of Accel Extreme 9000 wires, but I noticed that the boots are right angles and are not straight where the wires connect to the plugs.

They have some sort of heat protection built into the wires, but is this going to cause any problems? I won't be able to put the stock metal shields on the boots.

I have a 2000 firebird so I have the tubular manifolds if that makes a difference.

Anyone w/ a 2K+ bird running these wires? [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img]

Do you just have the wires or did a parts guy pull up your application.

If they are for your car I would say its ok, if you bought them off ebay or had them lying around I would double check on it.

I have made a lot of money in my life, most of which I spent on cars and women.The rest I have blown.

I bought them from TByrne for my application. I'm just looking to see if anyone else has run into some problems... ;)
