No clue, but check your fuses in the dash and under the hood. yeah i tried to wiggle it, even unscrewed the cluster made sure the plug was in. If it means any thing It was working before I put in the new steering column, thinkk I could've done something wrong or broke something??

cehck the wiring to the vss. I recently had to repair those wires. Not sure if the tach was effected, as the needle had fallen off a while ago :o1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:
