Does anyone happen to know the size of the plastic return line by the tank? mine rubbed on the car and wore a hole in itself and its leaking gas.

    I think it's a 3/8" line.
You can epoxy the hole, or use that putty stuff called "Steel". It's made to patch small holes in the gas tank, and should work great for an emergency fix.

i used some electrical tape for a temp fix, its actually holding up pretty well.

I seriously wouldn't do that!!! That tape can lose it's grip very easily and you'll have a Hazardous situation on-hand with fuel leaking from the car.
