Check the switch under the clutch (there is one on the floor , but you would be looking for opposite)
Same for the brake pedal( there is 2 switches- one for brake lights , and one for CC)
Make sure they all sit tight and pushed by the pedal all the way in.
A little confused as to why this was posted but I've also read from doing searches that the 3rd brake light when it goes out can make the cruise control act funny (intermittent problems mostly).
