electric radiator fans not turning on

what would cause the fans to never turn on?

ive checked fuses,,is there a sensor or relay for this ,,assuming that the fans are ok.

could be relay, could be computer, could be an open in the circuit, could be anything.

might be a stupid question but, is it very cold where you live????...and ya it could be alot of things...first thing I'd try is seeing if they work...mainline 12v to them, and if they kickon then work your way down the wiring from there.

they should turn on if you turn on the ac system.

yes ,they turn on with the ac,,,maybe the gauge isnt accurate?

it was reading about 210 when i was sitting in traffic ,,in 65 degree weather,,came down quickly when i started moving.

nothing wrong with reading about 210, sitting in traffic especially. its normal

for them dual fans, isn't one supposed to run all teh time, and the other when a/c turned on/gets to a certain temp?

one runs (low speed) when the a/c is on below 30 or 40 mph...if a/c is off the low speed will turn on at a certain temp..as well as the high speed (both fans) will turn on at a certain temp.....and the temp gauge in your dash is basically a dummie gauge just letting you know everything is ok....well that is if your what 98+ or was it 97+????
