I used to run 93 for the past year or so. I recently went back to 87 becuase I figured out the expensive way that 93 doesn't help much, just a lil not very noticable, hurts your pocket. Stick with 87.
one question to you gas experts.
ever since I switched gas I felt a slight misfire. I thought it was wires but no code comes up. So I thought it was the tranny, but after testing it many times, that tranny is fine, just the usual hard shifting. Right now my car is starting to run a lil better, anyone think the mixing of gas might have caused something?? should i get an injector cleaner?? thanks in advance.

I live in cali and here the gas prices right now are 2.15 for 87, 2.30 for 89, and 2.50 for 93. I've always used 89 but now because of the cost I switch to 87 and I get the same gas milage as before. So I dont think it really makes a difference.

Everyones car is difference, try a full tank at 87 and calculate your mpg, dont just look at mileage that you got that tank. Then see what you get with a tank of 89. Just do some simple math and figure out if it is worth it. It is for me, but for some others it might not be
