Today one my way to work the e-way was packed. Then comes some dumb a** and jumpes in front of me and slams on his brakes. Sure enough i slam right into him ****ing up my hood and bumper, so i pull over and the son of a b**ch pops me the bird and leaves. and all this just happened to happen right after i switch my deductible from 500 to 1000 to make my payments go down. Well since he didnt stop its considered a hit and run, and it might be covered under uninsured motorists. At least its all just body work.

either way it is ur fault unless u can prove he hit u on purpose, since u hit him in the back.

I wish I would have gotten it. i wasnt even thinking about it at the time. I got a police report and the police officer told me that it wasnt my fault and i didnt get sited. Thats what he told me to tell the insurance company.

you should throw some pics up to show the damage....sorry to hear bout your ride tho, same thing happend to me when i was in 11th grade cept the guy was a drug dealer, he ran a red light, tboned me, stoped and gave me fake insurance, so i wrote down his plate while i went in the school to call the police and he took off like a bat out of hell

He was probably uninsured. If he lives in your state and you know what kind of car it was and what color and maybe even the year. Try to have the registry find the car in their directory and maybe you can find him. I am sure his paint is on your car and/or your paint is on his car. That is evidence enough when it is a hit and run. Especially if you already told the cop what the car was because it will be in their police report. The only way to go about this is if you told the cop what the car was while he was filing the report. It's a long shot and a wild goose chase, especially if he doesn't live around you. It all depends on how bad you want revenge.

I just want my car fixed and ready to go again. It will still run like new, it didnt do any harm mechanicly I looked it over good while at work. I work at sears auto. Although I really wouldnt mind running into that kid somewere. Also ill get some pics, ive been meaning to do that for a while now.

i chased the guy who hit me. old ****er tried to just drive away like nothing happened. i think im alittle crazy but i would search for that ****er until you find him

Trust me I would have, but by the time I pulled over on the side he was in the far left lane getting of an exit. Witch didnt give me enought time to get over there.

Also Im going to have to get a new hood and the insurance company is going to pay for a new one but how much extra or how much of a difference do you think I'd have to pay to get an SS hood?

dude a guy did that to my i ran into the back of this dumb *** he pulls in front of me then slams on the breaks to turn and i run in to the back ofhim at 45 then he ****in takes off i was drivin my first gen blazer at the time when i saw him leave i put the pedal to the floor back tires were burnin only cause both fenders were on the tires couldnt even turn the wheel at all needless to say i junked it my head hit the windshield to i was pissed

You won't know until you get an estimate of how much it would cost to repair/replace your current hood. Then add back in the cost to paint the new hood, plus the difference in price. Sucks about the 1000$ deductible, that's not helping.
