  • Why injectors tick....

    The injectors that GM uses in its cars, regardless of maker, is made with a ceramic coating that quiets the 'tick'. The coating is applied to the pindle. When injector cleaners are used, they eat away at the coating until there is none left. Hence the ticking returns. The ticking is not harmful, just annoying. Unless you like that sort of thing.
