i installed a new power window motor in my passanger door yesterday. now i'm not afraid to take the t-tops off. it was pretty easy, mostly because i did a search here and found some links (thanks to everybody who has done this before and wrote up guides and tips on how to do it). i get a light metal on metal rubbing sound once the window gets past half-way down , but it doesn't slow down at all, so i don't think i'm gonna worry about it.

Yeah, prob just needs a little lube. Also make sure that the motors screwed on tight and that you used loc-tite on it.
