I had some trouble with my window last week, so I took the door panel off and i found the window to be out of the track. Them i found the coil type spring laying inside. I put it all back together, 2 days later the spring fell off again. Is there a special way of installing the spring, i.e. i heard that you have to wrap the spring around 1 complete turn so that it constantly has pressure on the lever? Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Re: Window spring
i know that you need to have some residual pressure on that spring. i've seen people take them off and it'll shoot out so yeah. definately get some pressure on there. also, i've been to rockford before. nice lil town. my company has a plant out there supplying parts to chrysler for the dodge caliber.
