  • Oil leak...what else?

Have a 97 firebird with about 60k miles and an having problems with another oil leak. Here is a little history of what has been done:
-replaced rear main about 1.5 years ago.
-replaced the oil pan gasket about 6 months ago

Now, the car is leaking oil again. It is hard to tell where exactly where it is coming from, not sure what else could be leaking again other than the valve covers. How can I tell for sure if it is valve covers or is there anything else that could be leaking? Sure hope it is not the rear main again

i did a search and saw that topic, but it seems like it is more for the 3.4, if not how hard is it to change yourself?

Most of the info at that site is about V8 f-bodies, but it usually says if it only applies to a certain model(like only to LT1s or LS1s.)

You'd have to remove the intake manifold and redo the seal.
