i thought that the y87s had 323s in the gear ratio? go here to read. this is what it says:"The Y87 Performance Package was available on the Coupe & RS, which consisted of four wheel disc brakes, 3.42 axle ratio and the sportier suspension components that the Z28 received. It required the P235/55TR16 tires (QBC)." http://www.camarosource.ca/php/camar....php?year=1996 does it have 342 in the rear end?

I'm pretty sure Y87 Autos came with 3.42s... I dont know, hang on a minute, i'll find out.
EDIT: Only A4 equipped Y87 cars came with 3.42's.
M5 equipped Y87 cars still got the same 3.23's as non Y87 M5 cars.
Y87 = 14:1 steering ratio (instead of regular 16:1) with autocross designed power steering cooler, Zexel-Torsen Limited Slip Differential, 3.42's (for A4 cars), and low restriction dual outlet muffler.
