My car will not start.I think the relay is bad.When I turn the key to the on position the relay clicks like a machine gun will not stop untill I turn key off.Is that what a bad relay sounds like?

you could get a paper towel cardboard roll and try to listen and isolate where the sound is coming from
I had a relay go out. It threw a code, so I knew which one. Fuel pump relay
