Ok long story but i was working on the back of my cd player and i had my class ring on so i took it off and out of all places i put it in the A/C vent and it ****ing fell back I was so pissed. What can I do to fish it out? BTW 99 camaro.

My guess would be some kind of magnet on a string and pull the ac vent off and go fishing. Good luck.

Haha that sounds like a good idea actually. This happened to a friend of mine what he did was he had one of those 20 dollar spy cameras and he tied it to a string to make sure it was there and had another friend lower a magnet on a string. He got it out no problem.

we have this magnet on the end of a spine tubing.. hard to explain but its made to fish into skinny places to get nuts and bolts etc.. Im sure you can find it at a local harware store...

sounds like a plan, but if i were to take some aggressive turning would it slide around so I would see it come towards the middle?

Hello, is the ring made of a metallic alloy that magnets can only attract? White gold, platinum & silver are not magnetic last time I checked. A suggestion is to find a junkyard with a wrecked model like yours and tear it apart as practice. Pick a nice weekend at a pick & pull to learn. The experience will probably make your search a lot more easier to locate your precious ring.
