Just like many other happy camaro owners, even though I replaced my driver's side motor just last year, both motors only work half of the time now. If they go all the way down, they may or may not come back up again. Also, they both go up slowly and seem to overheat for a few minutes if I try to run them both at the same time. Is this something to do with the limiter switch I have read about in a few posts? If so, what is it and where is it?
Now, to my new window motor question....does anyone have any thoughts about replacing the motor with a totally different one? Perhaps with some other model that is twice as fast? And more reliable? I know it might be difficult finding one that fits, but many other parts of a camaro came off other GM products....maybe these do too? Perhaps a Corvette motor....same type of car with super long doors and a large door window that weighs more then some small cars......
