I've got ~$150 to spend on my car. I've already have a cat-back exhaust and cold air intake, and was hoping to find something else to use it on. I was thinking I might be able to find a good used LSD and 3.42's, but is there anything else I should get? Should I do more engine bolt on stuff (if there is any), or should I go with drivetrain stuff now? I was hoping more engine wise, but anything is good, what would you guys recommend? I'm already talking to someone on here about a driveshaft, but I may go with something else.

Re: Abit to spend
dont waste your time and money on chips, stats, or bypasses. all that does is make your car run TOO cold.
for $150, there isnt a hell of a lot you can do, usnfortunately. you have knocked out the cheap mods and now it gets tough. I would get some NGK spark plugs, maybe some taylor wires or something, then honestly save the rest for future mods.

Re: Abit to spend
for 150, I would upgrade to the aluminum driveshaft. Don't mess with the steel, go right to an aluminum one. You will notice a difference with this upgrade, at least I did and most people I talk to have.

Re: Abit to spend
you could get a cam, but your budget is gonna be short for it. cam install run around like 500+ once you get all the valvetrain upgrades and all.
gears and posi upgrade is tough to find for 150 or less. Used rear ends go for 300 bucks.

EDIT: Nvm, did some readin on it, and I don't want it afterall. So, I may be interested in your DS. I would really like to find a LSD and gears though. How much of a difference would I see form the DS? I know it won't be much, but just an estimate.
EDIT 2: Did some more searching (I'm a good boy :P ) and foudn that there's about an average of .2 coming off of 1/4 times with a aluminum shaft. So, all I can say is I think you should hold that one for me man. I should hopefully have the money by either tomorrow or Wednesday (depends on if I have time to get to the bank tomorrow).Last edited by RadRacer; 10-16-2006, 08:34 PM.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
