  • Starting Problem, electrical?

Lately, my car doesn't want to start on the first try as all fuel injected cars should. It acts as though the battery is dying or dead. At times you must hold the key to get the motor to turnover. Yesterday it got to the point where the it don't even draw any current from the battery. I that episode I figured it was the battery so I replaced it. After driving home from Sears I discovered after attemping to start the car again it did the same thing. As after the car starts the gages "tach out" or move to their max position and then return to their normal position. The battery gage shows proper voltage after running the car. Took it to the dealer today to test the electrical and alternator and they didn't find anything wrong with the car. I recently installed a 1999 GM CD player from a S10 would that effect the electrical system to cause these problems? What could it be?
    Thanks everybody!!!
