  • Wiper: Stalk vs Column Switch ???

I've been researching whether or not it's feasible to upgrade an '84 from a standard 3 position wiper to a delay wiper (option).

So far I've figured out both the wiper motor assembly AND the stalk switch are different and have to be swapped.

But after looking at a stalk switch it's looking like the internal switch mounted inside the steering column is ALSO different/unique...?

Can someone please verify if there are different part#s for the internal column portion of the wiper switch for a regular wiper setup vs delay wipers? This is the switch part that is inside the steering column and holds/mounts the stalk switch.

    Thanks!
