hey everyone i have a problem my car is starting to over heat n i dont know whats the problem . ive already changed the water pump , thermostat , all the hoses so if anyone has had this problem b4 please direct me in the right direction o its a 97 3.8 t-5 n its has abot 109,XXX miles on it

make sure you bleed the cooling system, there is a little valve on the pipe where the thermostat is. You just open that up a little bit until coolant flows out.2002 Silver Firebird A4<br />T-Tops, Leather, Y87, W68, Chrome Wheels<br />Bone Stock

I 'd let it warm up a little so a little pressure builds, then just turn it a little bit to let the air out. When you see coolant coming out you're all set. Just don't do it when it's totally hot.... because you'd be overheating anyway, probably. And you'd have high pressure in there.

yea I had an air bubble in my lines when I replaced my thermo, it was overheating so I had to bleed the air out with that little screw

i let the engine warm up to at least the same temp of the thermo
open the bleeder
shut off car
let it let out all the air
close
fill radiator

I cant find this bleeder could it be anywhere else or what does it look like cause im haveing an overheating problem too?
