i got out of work n i was checking my oil n i seen off white sludge in the oil cap and in the neck what caused this and is the anyway to fix it or am i looking at getting a new motor its a 97 3.8 with 109,XXX miles on it let me kno i was thinking about putting seafoam n c whats up after that

sounds like coolant in your oil. whatever has happened like intake gasket or head gasket, its what is causing you to over heat. -

when the car started overheating i seen smoke coming from the intake when the car was off so can it be a intake gasket ?Comment

usually when smoke is coming from the hood...
I think there is a oil leak somewhere. So it is hitting the exhaust and burning off2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!Comment
