  • white sludge in the oil cap

    i got out of work n i was checking my oil n i seen off white sludge in the oil cap and in the neck what caused this and is the anyway to fix it or am i looking at getting a new motor its a 97 3.8 with 109,XXX miles on it let me kno i was thinking about putting seafoam n c whats up after that

    sounds like coolant in your oil. whatever has happened like intake gasket or head gasket, its what is causing you to over heat.

      when the car started overheating i seen smoke coming from the intake when the car was off so can it be a intake gasket ?

          usually when smoke is coming from the hood...
          I think there is a oil leak somewhere. So it is hitting the exhaust and burning off
