i think your friend is silly all that is.. is a nicer version of the infamous Resistor mod and i highly doubt thats gonna deliver the power to break em' loose if he can do a burnout with that.. he could before..

Well thats the same thing that you can buy from SLP...and judging by the part number, it looks like thats where they are even getting theirs from....surprisingly its cheaper from them than directly from SLP. 5-7 horsepower though? Doesnt really seem like a lot to me.

5-7 isnt a lot, nor will you actually see 5-7. this mod is a waste, get cold air or exhuat, something that works.

$24 dollars!!! If you want to do a burn out, hold the brake, floor the gas. Or turn the steering wheel. and hit the gas.

I "tested" my car out that way when I first got it, and I'll be damned if those curbs didn't jump out in front of me. Make sure there are no objects bigger than your car around when you do that.

haha yea that might help. I see guys always doing reverse burn outs like going back wards and slamming it in drive and i bet like after a few times the tranny will fall out

                      Re: HP gain?

it just tricks the pcm to think that there is colder air going into the engine and therefore your pcm adds timing. Same as the resistor mod. Not worth the money.

I am gonna lock this before it turns into a flame fest over this product. Try a search on the resistor mod and you will find some more threads on these type of things.
