its just the way chevy decided to tell you that your bulbs burnt out....

Check your taillight bulbs. If one of the 2-way bulbs goes out, the front turn signal will not flash but simply stay on when you use it. I had this problem on my '94 & it took me awhile to figure out it was something other than the front turn signal (since it still worked).

By design, the light that is still functional will stay lit when the blinker is switched on. This is GM's way of pointing you to the burned out bulb (the one that isn't lit).

That happened to me once. I checked all of my bulbs by using the hazards, and they were fine. Even with the turn signal, the outside lights would just light up brighter instead of flahshing.

So I replaced the turn signal thingy under the dash, and the problem was solved
