  • MAF screen

Ok when I was removing my ram air, when I was doing my engine pull out, I hit the screen with the screw driver, and now theres a big mark in it. Will this trigger a SES when I startup? If so do I have to buy a new one? Because they look spendy...

    TIA

try removing the ring/clip holding it in.
            pull out the screen.
grap a paper clip or toothpick and try and straighten it out.

and/or just remove the ring/clip holding it in and rotate/spin/clock it into a better position..worth a try.

              Re: MAF screen

what year car is it again? If you have the straight tb you can just remove it completely and it won't hurt anything. The angled Tb guys like me can't remove it because it needs to be in to straighten the flow out, idles rough with it out

i think the angled throttlebody is more prone to throwin the code
