Well I have had a problem every once in a while my 2000 camaro wont start then I'll try again and it will start right up but sometimes this is what scares me is when it trys to start then hisses really loud and MAYBE some metal on metal sound once, cant tell really tho and doesnt start. Then i'll try to start it again and it start right up. I have already search and there are alot of threads on starting and in the past hour I havnt came across one that sounds like my problem. Any help will be great thanks

starter, or starter silnoid. either way you have to replace the starter since the sylinoid is built in. good luck -

yea, could be a flywheel issue also... but more likely the solenoidRebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
