  • HELP! Motor is Jerky...

Hey guys, hope you can help me out :( . Well its like what the topic says. Every time i pass 45 mph my motor jerks like crazy. Im thinking its my Overdrive, but when i put in regular drive it does it then too! But its right as soon as i hit that 45 mph mark it drops the RPM to like a lower gear which is good but then its back up and down and up and down.. etc... and it JERKS I dont know what it could be hopefully you guys could help me out Thnx
    ~Chris

Sounds like the same thing my car was doing when my knock module failed. It wasn't happening at a certain speed but it was usally worse as I tried to speed up. It would act just like you are describing though. Sometimes I could drive the car for a while and nothing would happen and other times it would act up constantly until eventually it got worse and stalled everytime it happened. Before I got it replaced there were times I couldn't even get the car to start until 15 or 20 minutes later. Did you scan the computer to see if the car was throwing any codes?

Well that's what most people say to do on this board but if there isn't one in your area you'll probably have to bring it to a garage to get it scanned.
