I went to change my spark plugs and the boots will not come off of them ? do they screw off or just yank off?

They just pull straight off. Be careful not to rip the boot though. Make sure you take off the heat shields first. Those are a PITA to get off too sometimes.

Here's a lil tip too, before you put them back on, go to an autoparts store and get some Dieletric Grease, coat the inside of the plug wire boot with the grease and it will be 1000000x easier to get them on and back off next time. :)

i think they just slide off. but be careful, b/c if they are stuck you might rip the rubber and have to buy new wires

Twisting them to break them loose before you pull on them can help too.

I hate when they are stubborn to come off. I always end up smashing my hand when they fly off from pulling on them realllly hard.

Burned wired are a PITA to remove. After you do get them off, as mentioned earlier, always use dielectric grease when putting them back on. That stuff works great!!!
