I had them on my 3.4 liter Monte Carlo, and they were fine as wine.

ive got the copper NGKs personally, but ive heard good things about the AC Delco rapidfires, thats what i would replace my NGKs with. I think 4 prongs is overkill, if anything, the +2 would be worth settling for imo.

the bosch platinum +4's aren't an improvement over a regular spark plug. Often times, the extra electrodes "shroud" the spark, keeping it from fully igniting the A/F mixture.

Stick with the NGK's. You can always order them online if your local auto parts store doesn't carry them.

the dont work ood at all. they way they work is a spark forms on one of the 4 metal pronges. it doesnt increase spark at all, just last longer than regualr plugs. so when one gives out, the spark moves to the next pronge. after a while, the spark begons to weaken. they arent good at all. replace them

Yeah take them off. I have them on my camaro at the moment, and they feel like I lost some power by having them on. How do I know this. Will because I uses to have these type of NGKs one my camaro http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku until I replace them with Bosch platinum +4. I just bout this http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku for my turbo application.

I put them on the blazer, along with the bosche wires and only got improved milage out of them. Never had an issue with them either.

as you cain see, mixed results, so teh only way for you determine if they anygood or not is to run them & come to your own determination.

sounds like they are decent for DD but bad for racing

Re: Bosch platinum +4 any good?

they suck for any application. i wish i could find that write up about them i read years ago. i will never buy them. instead of one electrode, they have four. the spark doesnt improve despite popular opinion. the spark arcs from the electrode witht the least resistance. when and electrode goes bad, it will stop arcing. and then it will again choose the electrode with the least resistance. they hold heat like a mother b/c they areplatinum. they are no better than the cheapest of spark plugs. only plus side is you dont have to change them often. but they will offer no more reliability or performance than a regular plug. except lighten you wallet.
