There are plenty of threads in here related to vibration of your car when at a stop in drive but many shots in the dark as to what in might be. My 94 firebird had the apparently common problem where the engine runs smooth but when you stop at a redlight or stopsign in drive, the entire car feels a bad vibration. Almost like you are getting a massage sitting there in your seat. IT WAS BAD ENGINE MOUNTS which was the problem. The old rubber just gets hard as a rock and depressed over time and it loses its insulating ability. I replaced them and it idles smooth as silk now. Hope this $25 repair helps others before they start assuming a miraid of other problems mentioned as "possible" causes. This is a great website!
