how can you tell if your EGR valve is bad? cause i get horrible gas mileage and my car runs rich it is the 3.4 of course lol problem motor also would it throw a SES light or any idea's on why i run rich? it also does not have a converter if that affects it all any help would be excellant thanks/..
95 3.4 mine has run rich at idle since i got it 55k ago(60) no idea why checked after plugs decarb o2s no good reason i think some just do o by the way is it rich with the a/c off or on or both my buddy's is only rich on which makes sense the extra load of the compressor
how can you tell if its running rich? its fuel injected so there is no reason for it to be running rich unless the pcm is throwing a code (assuming you havent tuned it) if you are soully basing your theory on smelling gasoline your fuel/air mixture probably isn't fully detonating, and you should check your ignition components.
K&N air filter, Whisper air lid, magnaflow LT1 cat back, and magnaflow high flow cat, pacesetter headers, silverstars

more to come soon
but for now im out of money
