help please....getting ready to make a long 3 hr trip

just got finished washing and waxing my car. i put on some tire black, then I put in my keys to the radio on but car not on position, shifted the auto shifter into neutral and drifted back a few feet to put more black on.

finished everything, went to turn it on to put into the garage and it wouldnt start. it kinda sounded like a loud clicking. then after a few 2-3 tries, it came on. voltage seems to be fine, no ses light. my dad drove it around the block it was fine, no wierd noises. i had driven it about 30 miles last night.

any suggestions? i am about to drive 3 hrs to Ocean city but the car seems fine

you could have just locked up the tranny, all you have to do is shift into neutral and roll the car a bit. That used to happen on my old car.

You going to the Corvette Show? I really wanted to go but I have too much work to do.

actually it was the battery. its fixed now

im going down tonite to see the corvettes and then tomorrow to see h20. basically i think all vw's are ugly and gay but i get to see a few friends that are back from college.
