  • Cant get wheels off

I have stock rims on my 2000 camaro i cant get the one lug nut ****ing off the one that is different then all the others that u need to use the little tool for. I want to paint my calipers but i cant if i ****ing cant get to them. The little tool wont stay on straight and i might end up f*cking up my lug nut. What can i do to get it off.

find a socket that just fits the lug. then go one smaller and hammer it on and wrench it off. check your glove box first to make sure the key isnt in there.

you got owned. a reputable shop can bust a lug nut for under 20 bucks.

if i were you, i would find a mans drill (18 volts or better, 36 preferably) and drill that sucker to pieces.

if it doesn't fit it right then it is the wrong one.

my key is kinda messed up, ie its been used alot, and i think that that is your problem. what i had to do was line up the spaces, locking key to the lug nut, tap it on with a hammer, take the lug nut off, and pry off the key. once your key gets worn or the lug nuts get worn, you should probably get a new set.

should have clarified better. they did break it off, but had to buy new lugs and then finish putting on my new brake pads and rotors. So, after the pads and rotors i think i got charged about 45 bux.

You should be able to tell if its the right key or not pretty easily. did you try cussing it out? helps me, well it helps me calm down, but never really helps on the problem.
