then get it scanned dannit! pun intended*

i know you said its better in upper rpm but id check fuel pressure and for vac leaks. id also find somone with a scanner you can look at a/f with. any smoke out the tail. what city are you in? manual or auto
ok here goes
auto
code 300 misfire
i changed plugs again
checked wire everything is sparking good
checked fuel presure 44 idle 50 when you rev it up
it has all new fuel injectors
the car does idle a little rough
rev it up to about 1500 1800 rpm sound smooth, no funny sounds
rev to 3500 no problem sounds good
put it in drive, and hit the gas and it takes about a 1/8 1/4 mile to get up to 50 mph
I had the same problem and I tried everything from the air filter to the exhaust nothing worked, it was something with my compression so i just put a new motor in.
tap the maf sensor while it is idling and see if the thing acts differently. Maybe a bad maf sensor and it is reading the air wrong and causing the rough idle and take offs.
if you take the maf sensor out cant you tell by just looking at it. at the bottom its got two thin metal thingys in the circle. i had to replace the maf, map and the throttle sensors maybe thats some of the problem.

ok the code is accually random misfire....i'll bet theres multiple misfires...that will smooth out at high rmp but u loose a lot of power...change all three coils i did that on my 3.4 and it made a huge difference...u can get them from an advance auto(not auto zone) for $25 and change a piece...or we can get msd coils #8224 for 52 a piece
maybe you got a bad coil pack, sometimes that could happen. if the code tells you what cylinder its misfiring off of try switching the coil pack with one of the otehr ones. doing so if its a coil pack it should read a different cylinder.
write down what your cylinder orders off of the coil packs to make sure you got them right.

if you cant find the problem take it to a shop or something.

check your compression maybe you've got a broken ring
I hope you learned never to buy rebuilt. Ive seen many rebuilt alternators go bad the next day on friends cars. I myself have always been told by my dad just to pay extra a get a brand spankin new one.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
