Coolant into engine through tb??

Hi everyone :wavey:

I have a 2001 Camaro. Hares the stupid question. What would happen if some motor coolant went in to the engine because of the TB? Also with out me knowing it?

Unless it's an excessive amount of coolant puoring into the engine, you really shouldn't worry too much. A light spray could ruin an 02 Sensor, but it's not likely. How much sprayed in through the TB?

Lemme guess, the gasket on the TB was cracked or improperly sealed and allowed coolant to leak into the motor...right?

You hit it right on the nose. I don't know how much or how long this was happing. I notice it this morning.

Only sensor there is behind the TB gasket is the MAP. I really dont think it would hurt it, since I've had coolant on mine and no damage.
