I don't know if it's just me or what but the horn on my bird sounds less like the furry of a pheonix and more like the whine of chickadee. I was wondering if the stock horn is naturally high pitched and weak or if it's just me. If it's not just me (and this might make me sound like an idiot) but what would I need to beef it up? Is there something I could do or could I order new horn parts (if so from where) or what?
My horn sucks too. I think they did it because it honks with the alarm system and they didn't want it to scare old people or something. I saw dual horns for sale on e-bay out of earlier T/A's. Dual horn setup, where we just have one. They have a high and a low horn, whereas we just have the high pitch. About 20-40 dollars, depending on the auction. Or go to a salvage yard and get them. I'm sure there is somewhere around the stock location to install this. If it needs another plug in for two horns, I'll just tap the wires that are there. If it is not there now. Or you can always drive your friends and neigbors nuts (and yourself) and get a MUSICAL horn! Hee hee. I always wanted a horn that played Ozzy...

Oh thanks for reminding me, that was another question I had. This may sound way too ricey but I want it just for the novelty and wouldn't use it all the time - is there a sort of pa or soundbox I could purchase that would play a preset song I put on upon my car starting? My friends don't like to buckle their seatbelts and I have a few sound clips which would be pretty funny to remind them upon startup.
Wow, I really don't know. You could wire something up to a switch they can't see on the dash by the headlight switch, to play something. I think they make a recordable chip, that plays something back, kinda like those cards that play something when you open it. Maybe a electronics shop or something might have it. Who knows, maybe Radio Shack. If you can find the circuit for the seatbelts, and wire something into it. Like the warning when you leave the lights on with the key out.

Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
