recheck for codes. my bird (85, but still applicable w/the 3.4 even though it had maf) was shootinig black soot through the tail pipes due to misadjusted tps. check yourss/voltage. o2 is what, a 410~15 part? also, look through this for major tune up suggestions, and adapt dizzy to 3.4 apps ;)

on obd1 cars, codeds will come & go. just because iit not showiing now, doesn't mean it hasn't shown, plus i ihad no tps/o2 codes showing on the bird
