The sensor is in the top dash vent. If the two wires are connected it won't turn the lights on automatically...mine is the opposite...I took the sensor off so they are on all the time.98 Bright Red Camaro
Too many mods to list....check my website

auto lights dont come on until the hand brake is down, but you dont wanna have any extra scraping on the rear brakes unless you want to replace pads and such quciker then normal.
Installing your own switch would be a good idea, if you could find a wiring diagrapm on it would make it easy, but just find which one ya need to cut and put to swtich no biggie.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

I have wanted to get rid of that damn sensor for years now. I have just never gotten around to it.
I have a haynes manual with lots of wiring diagrams. Maybe it is in there somewhere. I will do some under-dash surgery on saturday and take pictures. We should make a mod review for this and settle it once and for all.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo
13.52@107.99
No, seriously: Who Farted?
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086

The connector to the light sensor is a two wire connector. Put a jumper between the two wires to disable the auto headlights. Put a switch in your jumper wire, to control whether the auto feature is disabled or not...\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA
