Sometimes i will be driving down the road, and let off the pedal for a bit. Then, the gas pedal is being pushed back in and the car is accelerating and i am not doing it, its doing it by itself! If this is normal then i am the king of spain. Have any of you heard of this on the 3rd Gen F Body Camaros? Its a 1991 Camaro 3.1 V6.

Re: Is there a Ghost driving my Camaro?
Sounds like your cruise is engaged and is trying to maintain speed. I bet when you touch the brake pedal it releases the gas pedal.
I would also bet that the wires for the cruise control switches in the control stalk are cracked/broken and that they are shorting to each other, commanding the cruise to set. The cracked/broken wires in the control stalk is a very common problem with GM vehicles with that type control stalk. I figured out a way to repair the wires in those control stalks, and have fixed a number of them over the years. Now Playing: \'99 Pewter Firebird, stock, bone stock, and nothing but stock, so help me God!
Comming attractions: K&N Filter, Lid Mod, Intake Bellows Smooth Pipe Mod.
I dream about: Forced Induction (TC or SC) or NOX (or both!)
