    1.heads
    2.cam
    3.TC

hrmmmm a Torque converter is going to give you less hp but you will run alot faster in the 1/4 (torque wins races hp sells cars)

if i was you i would set a time goal instead of HP goal as in you want a 13 sec n/a car.

but yea heads, cam (not a pussy cam), gears, tires, exasght (headers included), converter, aluminum DS, tunning

all that could put you darn close it depends on your converter how effeincent it is cause if its say 90% effencent compared to 96% thats a lose of 12+ hp right there

yea a 13 sec car sounds nice but im not sure what i want i just want to build up and go with it. i dont have a certain hp i want to get or time but these are mods im intrested in doing so what i get from those mods is what i'll end up with. i was told rwhp is different from reg hp so if i did get around 225 rwhp what would my total hp be about.

Just off the top of my head I think you would need about 250-260 at the fly wheel to get 225 to the ground through an auto.

          it's really tough to do.

ironman, NA, had 219 rwhp i believe. that is a lot for an NA 3800 fbody engine.

a lot of people think it's all about hp and tq, but it's really not--it's about how well it is displaced. for instance, you buy a torque converter--gain in hp or tq? no...it's merely a much more efficient use of the torque you already have, resulting in huge gains. another example--gears, do they gain hp or tq worth speaking of? no, they are just also a more efficient way of putting the power to the ground. with a GOOD tq converter and the right gears and other little mods like intake/exhaust/weight reduction, you could see mid to low 14s under the right conditions--MAYBE even high 13s. with a cam on top of all that, i'm sure you'd see 13s. don't make hp your goal, rather, make time your goal.
