Ive had the same worries with my car, I run consistently about 220-250 (at the very most) with a tank. These tanks of course consist of me dumping 20 bucks into the tank when its low so I guess that may or may not be exactly a full tank.
Ive heard of people getting 23-29 mpg but those numbers seem a little high to me. Theres nothing wrong with my car that I know of. How long has it been since you changed the fuel filter? Ran some injector cleaner through it? These are things you could try to give it a quick fix. But for now lay off the gas a tad hehe (im a lead footer too so I know how it is)1998 Firebird 3.8, A4
Mods: Alum Ds, Yank TC 2800 stall, Rksport lid, FTRA, SLP air temp sensor, K&N, Flowmaster catback 2.5\" w/cutout, 3:42 gears w/LSD
Best E/T: 15.6 @ 86 mph (w/o gears / lsd or verter)
Best 60: 2.234
www.teamfoxfire.iwarp.com -- club site
To come?: l67 piston package hardened, turbo? spray? low 12\'s? well see

I tryed injector cleaner and it did'nt do jack ****. How much is a fuel filter? I have never changed it. I like driving fast and when I get mad I go even faster. Well I only go as fast as my 3.4L can keep up.-FLOWMASTER 80 series exhaust dual out,K&N air filter.
-Bright Rally Red, 1993 Camaro V6 automatic. No BIG mods yet! I dunno really, prolly not too much id guess like 20-30 bucks (and thats a very expensive estimate hehe) I had a full tuneup when i got the car and that was one of the things they replaced.1998 Firebird 3.8, A4
Mods: Alum Ds, Yank TC 2800 stall, Rksport lid, FTRA, SLP air temp sensor, K&N, Flowmaster catback 2.5\" w/cutout, 3:42 gears w/LSD
Best E/T: 15.6 @ 86 mph (w/o gears / lsd or verter)
Best 60: 2.234
www.teamfoxfire.iwarp.com -- club site
To come?: l67 piston package hardened, turbo? spray? low 12\'s? well see

I was getting about 200 miles per tank, and that was -way- lower than it should have been. Took it to a GM dealer after I discovered an oil leak at the manifold, and they did warranty work on it. Replaced the rear main seal and two other oil seals on it ($50.00 deductible!)...
Picked it up a week later and filled up the tank. Still on that tank of gas, and I've got 1/4 tank left and have gone 255 miles. I expect 320+ before I have to fill up again.1998 Arctic White Firebird

Well after a let my car sit for like 2 hours or more when I start it up it put's out a blackish blueish smoke does that have something to do with it?-FLOWMASTER 80 series exhaust dual out,K&N air filter.
-Bright Rally Red, 1993 Camaro V6 automatic. well black smoke is a rich condition, blue smoke is oil.. if you get this when letting your car sit for a while that means you likely have leaky valve seals.. honestly not THAT big of a deal.. just keep an eye on your oil level.. if your car is relatively higher mileage this is gonna happen..
only way to fix the problem is to replace the valve seals.. while this isn't a really hard job.. if you aren't burning that much oil I wouldn't worry with it.. then again if you think you will be driving your car for a while longer and don't plan on an overhaul anytime soon it might be a good idea ... up to you and your checkbook I guess..-Brad

Just to verify something somebody said earlier in this post. I believe that the later model cars have 16.5 gallons tanks while the 93, 94, 95, etc have either a 15 or 15.5 gallon tank. Somebody verify this. It was brought up a while ago but I can't remember the exact numbers.1994 Camaro
3.4L V6 Automatic
K&N FIPK&Gold Oil Filter,Ravin Performance Exhaustw/Dynomax MandrelBent3\"I-Pipe&S Pipe&Catco 3\" HiFlow Cat.,ASP Crank and High AMP Alternator,U.D.
